Burgeoning R&B sensation Niia unveils a brand new version of “Constantly Dissatisfied” from her 2017 studio album I. This time around, she enlists the help of new school R&B sensation Gallant for a befitting feature with a Sasha Samsonova directed visual to go alongside it – the same person who directed Gallant’s “Gentleman“.
The song dictates the story, over a funk soul canvas, of a sour relationship and how they have driven themselves to that point like the prelude mentions. Bringing that narrative to life, the video sees Niia attached to her cigarette and detached and distant from her man, Gallant.
The video is very 80s inspired, more so than the track, with the glamorous outfits and the nice house and even with the tone set by the vintage colour and texture of the video.
It’s a dreamy collaboration from the pair, with Niia’s jazzy tone blending effortlessly with Gallant’s falsetto. Hopes for more collaborations from the pair in future. Watch Niia’s new video below:
