Sony Pictures Animation have released the first trailer of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a new Marvel cartoon film that introduces the universe of Spider-Man.
In this film, we can see the new Spider-Man, whose real identity is that of young African-American Miles Morales, who obtains arachnid powers and must learn to be a hero. He receives the visit of Peter Parker, who warns him that the universe he knows is not the only one that exists and that, like him, there are other heroes with the same abilities as him.
Also, in the trailer we can see other characters as Kingpin, the Green Goblin and the Morales family like his uncle Aaron, his father Jefferson and his mother Rio. In an unexpected scene, the trailer shows Spider-Gwen, the arachnid version of Gwen Stacy, who will make her film debut.
The film was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street and the cast features the talent of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez and Lily Tomlin. The new Spider-Man film will be released in the United States and worldwide on December 21.
