It was just meant to be from the start in Mario Jose‘s newest music video for his single “You Were The One“. The singer hops in his rainbow Tesla and pulls off a fun carpool karaoke in perfect James Corden style.
Different personalities from the showbiz world appear in the video, singing and dancing to Mario’s bop and helping the singer deliver this cute offering about ‘that special one’.
In a recently released interview, the singer confirmed that he got the inspiration for the song from a personal experience as “this particular love story happens to be about one of my best friends I grew up with and how she fell in love with her now-husband”.
The San Francisco crooner delivers the perfect love song for the summer, with lyrics like “all this time you were the one” returning during the explosive chorus. With an infectious beat and Jose’s warm and potent vocals, the song is slated to conquer the charts with its summery flavor and sweet lyricism.
Even though Mario Jose might not be a household name, it is certainly about to become one. After graduating at Berkley college in Boston, the singer moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the music industry.
Now, after two years in which he mostly toured, sharing the stage with some important names, and two previously released albums, the singer is back with new music, which hopefully will anticipate something new soon.
