Championed by the greats of rap including Nas and DJ Semtex, BiG HEATH, continues his rise with the release of “Bouncy“. It’s his first of the year and is taken from his forthcoming EP hopefully out this month.
“Bouncy” sounds just as it reads – buoyant beats and playful production, a reflection BiG HEATH’s larger than life personality. The track itself has flair but the video is definitely showing his creative genius. It’s a bit like Freaky Friday but on steroids as Heath finds himself constantly switching bodies; he becomes a priest, a thief, a famous celebrity and more before his demise at the end of the video.
Speaking on the track himself, BiG HEATH says: “’Bouncy‘ basically describes me, both mentally and physically. Its onomatopoeic for how I am. The message of the song is a standard Saturday night for me when I was a teenager, getting off your nut and bouncing.”
Heath has already garnered serious support from the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra and Hunger Magazine so it’s no surprise that he is now an artist to keep an eye on this year.
