After garnering a lot of buzz with his previous track “Kinshasa Riddim“, Tiggs Da Author returns with a brand new ‘riddim’. The second single from his upcoming mixtape, he presents to us “Plaza Riddim” featuring K-Trap.
With fellow South London representative K-Trap considered a leading artist within the UK drill scene, we have two different sounds coming together. It’s all been masterfully produced and put together by Show N Prove, Tiggs’ longtime collaborator. As Tiggs sings about “getting naughty with a shawty”, he both effortlessly raps and sings over a bumping and thumping, Afro-Swing inspired banger.
Tiggs’ mixtape, yet to have an officially announced name, will be released in the summer and includes huge collabs with some of the UK’s most respected talent. Tiggs is also working on an album which will include other new solo material. On his upcoming releases, Tiggs comments: “This year I wanted to release two different projects – carefree, two different vibes, but you can enjoy each one in their own unique way.”
Tiggs has had a huge 2018. Co-writing and featuring on Nines’ “Oh My” from the critically acclaimed album ‘Crop Circle’, he also made guest appearance on a plethora of other releases. Now we can’t wait to see what he can produce solo.
