The 54-years old How To Get Away With Murder actress Viola Davis has teamed up with L’Oréal Paris as their newest international spokesperson. She has joined Eva Longoria, Céline Dion and Helen Mirren as the face of one of the most iconic beauty brands.
“First of all, and you can take what I’m about to say with a grain of salt, I never thought that I could be an international spokesperson for L’Oréal. The fact that I am, it feels like my life has come full circle”, said the Oscar-winning actress, well known for performances in movies such as Doubtand Fences.
As a young girl, she never thought that she had the qualities of a beauty spokesperson, commenting that, “as a young girl, I wasn’t always told that I was smart, beautiful, or worthy. I worked tremendously hard to get where I am today – overcoming feelings of doubt to become a woman who truly believes I am ‘worth it’ in every way“.
Davis has said that she “feels more beautiful and powerful than ever”. It is clear that the actress has gained confidence over her amazing 30-year career and L’Oréal Paris has taken advantage of it since, this is a perfect time for the star.
“Because You’re Worth It” is the message that L’Oréal Paris is giving to women. “It’s a beautiful opportunity and responsibility to be able to spread the self-affirming message of worth to women around the world, and for my face to be attached to that self-affirming message”, said Davis about the partnership.
