Los Angeles based artist Juneau Lake has released a new song titled “Whatever You Say”, the first single from his upcoming album Wish You Were Here. Music has been a part of Juneau’s life, since he was a child, as he started singing in church at the age of two years-old.
To write “Whatever You Say”, the artist drew inspiration from such artists as Prince and Micheal Jackson. The artist manages to blend together many moods and genres, from Rock n’ Roll to Soul and R&B, but, despite his inspirations, it has created a sound that is uniquely his own.
The song features a catchy beat and rhythm, Juneau’s particular voiceprint, funky chorus and instrumentals. The song is about that special something or someone you just cant let go, no matter way you just want them right next to you. The song reflects the hard-won knowledge of someone who has survived a broken heart and who has spent long months on the road.
Juneau Lake has already performed as a touring backup singer for platinum selling artists and will hopefully start a new series of live performances to present his new album and records.
While waiting for his debut solo album, out on November 22, 2019, listen to “Whatever You Say” below:
