Singer and songwriter IsaacO kickstarted the new year releasing his latest single “Skin On My Bones”, with his new EP of the same title expected for March 2020.
IsaacO is a Birmingham based artist originally from Nigeria and he is able to combine both worlds in his music works. Taking inspiration from Bon Iver and Coldplay, his tracks mix soul, pop and rock beats with his deep voice, creating a unique musical landscape.
His successful debut single “Sea Of Sound”, released in 2018, reached over 250,000 streams on Spotify, featured on over 3,000 playlists, and culminated in a personal invitation to Spotify UK HQ.
IsaacO career has been increasingly developing: he collaborated with Satin Jackets, supported Billy Lockett, Augustana and Joe Fox among others and he received support from BBC Introducing West Midlands.
“Skin On My Bones” is a sentimental piano ballad about mental and physical health. IsaacO wrote its intense lyrics back in 2014, when he was attending medical school, genuinely giving voice to his fears concerning the fragility and uncertainty of life.
With his latest single, IsaacO will make you shiver, but he will also comfort you, delivering an attempt to understand the complexity of life through a touching and tender track.
