In a two-minute teaser, HBO Max have revealed the first images from the upcoming Friends special that will see the six friends of the show reunite after 17 years, in a special episode entitled The One Where They Get Back Together.
We will find the famous cast composed of Jennifer Anniston (Rachel), Kourtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross) returning for one more hoorah.
As the trailer shows, our six friends will reminisce, sometimes with a few tremors in their voices, about the most iconic moments from the ten seasons of Friends. From the famous quiz that cost Rachel and Monica their apartment, to the Christmas tattoo, they will also be asked to settle, once and for all, the thorny question of “We were on a break!” (Matt LeBlanc has a very personal opinion on the subject).
Friends: The Reunion will also feature an interview with presenter James Corden. They look back at the show’s most iconic moments, script readings and the moments when their lives changed, all while sitting on Monica’s famous living room couch.
Corden won’t be the only one visiting the iconic cast, as BTS, Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, Tom Selleck, Justin Bieber, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, activist Malala Yousafzai and Reese Witherspoon will also be in attendance.
The highly awaited episode will air on May 27 on the HBO Max platform.
