Recording artist, producer and solo artist Hairy Hands has a new EP on the way titled Battlecat which is available in February via Tape Club Records. James Bright aka Hairy Hands has his work cut out this year with a very vivid imagination, whereas most other artists have their minds set on feeding the world introverted tracks of down fall, success and the occasional “I’ve just been dumped by girlfriend” tracks. The Battlecat EP, named after a character he created through sure boredom, features a range of collaborators including Kwake Bass (DOOM, Kate Tempest), Andy Ramsay (Stereolab) on drums, Jack Wylie (Portico) on sax, some keys from Mark Rainbow (Laurel Collective), and mastering from Matthewdavid (Brainfeeder/Leaving Records). From the Battlecat EP, listen to new single “Space” below.
