With their new album, Anthems for Doomed Youth, due to be released on September 11, The Libertines are all set for a short 5-stage tour to celebrate. However, the boys in the band have decided to give away the proceeds of the London, Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham gigs to the Migrant Offshore Aid Station, following the immigration crisis. Along with this, all proceeds of the Glasgow leg of the tour will go to help the Scottish Homeless charity, The Invisible. The shows all sold out within 4 minutes of going online proving that the good ship Albion is still sailing. So boys, anyone that wasn’t a fan before, well, they can stand you now.
