The new Ghostbusters movie has very few details surrounding it. We know it to be a stellar all female cast, starring the hilarious Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, being directed by Paul Feig who has worked with both Wiig and McCarthy in Bridesmaids and McCarthy more so in Spy and The Heat.
Alongside these two will be cameos from the original cast and brand new people for Paul Feig to make his paranormal caper. What the exact plot of the film is, is still unknown, however, the logline for the movie has recently been revealed and features some plot details for the film.
The logline says, “with paranormal activity on the rise, a Columbia University academic, her ghost-chasing friend, the friend’s business partner, and an MTA employee join forces to bust ghosts and save New York“. Whilst not giving away very much the logline does confirm the relationships the four leads are to have with each other, and it does appear that the storyline will be quite close to the original. Either way who have I got to call to see some Ghostbusters footage soon.
