Another new cast member has been added to the cast roster of Alien: Covenant, following the recently announcement that Fantastic Beasts star Katherine Waterston is due to star in the Prometheus sequel.
Deadline reported that Demian Bichir is that new cast member recently announced, the actor’s role in the feature still under wraps but his role in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight lends more weight to his casting, the paper also noting that Noomi Rapace is due to play a role in the movie – though this may be oversight due to the fact that Ridley Scott has said she won’t be in fact returning for the sequel.
Micheal Fassbender will reprise his role, while comedian Danny McBride is said to be in talks about an undisclosed role. Alien: Covenant is scheduled to be released on 6 October 2017.
