Jessie Ware has announced she is expecting her first child. In a witty Instagram post, she said “Dropping this year, and it’s not the album“, alongside a picture of her growing baby bump.
The London born singer-songwriter, 31, married her childhood sweetheart Sam Burrows in a Greek ceremony on the island of Skopelos in August 2014. She revealed late last year that she was in the process of writing her third studio album, the follow-up to 2014’s highly acclaimed Tough Love which included the hit single “Say You Love Me”. It is unknown when the album is expected to be released, and is likely to be put on hold during her impending motherhood.
