Die-hard Breaking Bad fans will rejoice at a spoof that has been created to promote next week’s TV equivalent of the Oscars – the Emmy Awards. Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston reunite on screen as a sleazy pair of pawn shop owners in the six-minute video. They play Buzz and Randy Jackson in the reality show spoof entitled Barely Legal Pawn.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus who is nominated for best lead actress in a comedy series for Veep, also stars in the sketch. Paul and Cranston are nominated for best supporting actor and best lead actor respectively, for their roles as Jesse Pinkman and Walter White in Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad first aired in 2008 and has since become a firm favourite with viewers. The finale aired last September. The ceremony for the 66th annual Emmy Awards will be held on August 25 in Los Angeles.
