A New Look Into The Live-Action Adaptation of ‘Bleach’ | Film Trailer

 

Anime fans stand up! With the release of the live-action Bleach adaptation right around the corner, Warner Bros. Japan follow up their release of the initial trailer by dropped a new trailer focusing on the quality of the action with protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki‘s first ‘hollow battle’.

 

The latest teaser for the upcoming film shows how Ichigo stepping up to the plate after a ghostly creature runs amok in his neighborhood. Adopting his new powers, Ichigo slays the beast, kicking off the macabre Bleach saga. But with as much detail that is given in the 30 second clip, Warner still don’t give too much away.

 

 

And if you are someway, somehow not aware about the monster hit that is Bleach, in summary, it focuses on Ichigo Kurosaki, who had the ability to see spirits. Obtaining the power of a ‘Soul Reaper’, he now has the duty to defend the living world from monstrous dark spirits known as ‘Hollows’.

 

The original manga was serialized and was collected into 74 volumes. The series was then adapted into an anime and has four feature-length animations, video games, and a ton of other merchandise.

 

Set to open in Japan on July 20 with a wider release to follow, the live action Bleach adaptation is set to run like the original manga series. Watch Ichigo take down his first hollow in the new trailer above.
