Aaron Paul Working On New TV Show ‘The Way’ | TV News
Earlier in the week, Aaron Paul pranked us all by ‘revealing’ he was reprising his Breaking Bad character Jessie Pinkman for a spin off show. Turns out he was just joking, but he is working on a new show with US streaming service Hulu, scheduled for this winter.
The show has been tentatively named The Way (although that may be subject to change) and Paul will star opposite Michelle Monaghan (True Detective) as married couple Eddie and Sarah Cleary who are caught up in a sinister religious ‘movement’. The show has been written and created by Parenthood’s Jessica Goldberg and Paul will also be producing the show through his company Lucid Road Productions.
It will be great to see Emmy winner Aaron Paul return to TV, and Hulu are gaining momentum as creators of quality shows. Hulu is not available in the UK as of yet so lets hope that this is resolved by the time The Way is released. It will be great for Aaron Paul fans to see him show versatility, playing a family man suffering a crisis of faith within the range of a series that he can get his teeth into.
