Adult Swim yesterday released the first full look at Season 3 of Rick and Morty, the adult loved cartoon that “follows the misadventures of Rick Sanchez, a cynical mad scientist, and his fretful, easily influenced grandson Morty“.
The news was initially announced by Rick and Morty co-creators and writers Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland during a livestream. With only one month to go until its premiere, fans are especially hyped, and the trailer released on YouTube, as of now, has already racked up 1 and a half million views.
The trailer frequently played on a Mad Max parody, Rick and Morty itself being based on a parody short of Back to the Future. Game of Thrones and Men in Black crossovers also appear to be included. Also, pickles.
Rick and Morty Season 3 will begin on July 30. Seasons 1 and 2 are available now on Netflix.
