Alexander McQueen’s ‘Savage Beauty’ Arrives At V&A Museum | Fashion News

Exploring the work of late British designer Alexander McQueen, the ‘Savage Beauty’ exhibit arrives at the V&A this week. Spanning from his inaugural 1992 graduate line to the unfinished Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, the exhibition celebrates the iconic work of one of fashion’s most loved – and missed – designers. Opening on March 14, the exhibition will feature some of McQueen’s most memorable pieces, including his Spring/Summer 1999 white spray painted cotton dress, to his infamous, dramatic armadillo heels. The show will run until August 2 at London’s V&A, and is the first chance to see the exhibition in Europe.
