When it was announced today that creative director of Versus Versace, Anthony Vaccarello, was stepping down, it seemed only a matter of time till he would be named as the head honcho at YSL.
With the imminent departure of Hedi Slimane this past week, there were many rumours as to who was the person to try and fill his shoes. Anthony may be trying to make a name for himself at YSL, but he also has a lot to offer with 3 years at Versace under his belt.
Donatella, herself, only had good things to say about the man in question: “While I’m sad to see him leave the Versace family, I wish Anthony Vaccarello tremendous success with his next chapter“. Vaccerello’s first collection for the French brand will be this October, creating the Spring/Summer line for 2017.
