While his ‘claim to fame’ might be featuring as a contestant on The X Factor USA, it is clear that he is intending to blaze his own path and with this song he might just do so. This new single is more stripped back, with solely his guitar accompanying him on this musical journey. It allows him to really show off his special tone which is packed full of grit.
The song is a deep and passionate display about a relationship that has fallen to pieces, hence the title. It is an empty vessel of what it used to be. A relationship not out of love but supposed obligation. If the words don’t resonate with you, the emotion in his vocals certainly will.
