Audiences fell in love with her as a contestant on The Great British Bake Off, and now, Nadiya Hussein will display her charm on another BBC show, Nadiya’s British Food Adventure. The venture is yet another for Hussain who has enjoyed a surplus of publicity since winning the popular baking show in 2015.
Nadiya’s British Food Adventure shows Nadiya travelling around the country, going to local farms and suppliers to find inspiration in British innovation. Nadiya then uses this to create her own recipes which can also be found in the compilation book of the same name. Over 120 recipes will be included in Nadiya’s British Food Adventure, on sale July 13 under publisher Penguin.
In August last year, The Chronicles of Nadiya, a two-part series, saw Hussain trace back to her roots in Bangladesh to unveil what inspired her own cooking. The show was watched by 4.5 million, taking a 20.5% share of viewership.
Nadiya’s British Food Adventure is an eight part series and will premiere this summer on BBC2 to coincide with the release of her book. Feast on the trailer below:
