Balmain have unveiled their Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti with art directed by Pascal Dangin, features a diverse range of models such as Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls,Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Crista Cober. The campaign was inspired by the distorted realism of 1970s French cinema, and shows the girls in various scenes, from one in which they’re fighting, to others involving eating burgers and playing video games, complete with slicked-back hair, cut-outs and leather.
Creative Director Oliver Rousteing said of the campaign, “Balmain is all about diversity. The incredible power that all those strong women bring in front of the camera, put into real life situations, helped me explore and create a new reality that represents the pop aspect of my generation. The Balmain reality, my reality. This is the new Balmain army and the game is on“. The campaign will feature in February 2015 issues of leading fashion titles worldwide.
