BANNERS And Lily Meola Share Harmonious Duet ‘Perfectly Broken’

BANNERS (aka Michael Nelson), the award-winning Liverpudlian pop singer, has just released his new single “Perfectly Broken”(Duet Version) featuring the powerful voice of Lily Meola.

“Make peace with your broken pieces”, is the invitation we get from the duo with their powerful yet comforting new contemporary-pop sound. “Perfectly Broken”(Duet Version) is an encouragement to his listeners to embrace their imperfections to the rhythm of sweeping violins and heartbreaking voices in harmony.

The song is all about completing each other and that is exactly what Michael and Lily demonstrate to us with their voices perfectly in tune. The singer himself said that he “didn’t know the song needed {Lily} until {he} heard her voice”. Their two worlds collide to propel us into an almost cinematic moment as we hit the chorus, offering us serenity amid chaos.

English indie-pop act BANNERS is no stranger to success. Having already made his mark with his unforgettable single “Someone To You”, the artist continues his journey with his new album “All Back To Mine” out April 19th, combining romance and optimism.

Also, to kick off an exciting 2024, BANNERS embarks on a tour of Europe and the UK in the spring, with a series of headline shows (check dates down below).

Lily Meola continues to captivate us with her soulful voice, as seen in her earlier projects like the widely praised breakout single “Daydream”. She has spent the last five years honing her own craft as a songwriter working with artists like Andra Day, Corey Harper, or Riley Roth, providing us with cinematic songs.

“Perfectly Broken”(Duet Version) fills our hearts a little more, so make sure to listen to it the next time you’re on public transport and want to romanticise your life!
