Beyoncé Adds More Dates To Renaissance World Tour Due To Fan Demand

Beyoncé has announced the first set of additional tour dates for her RENAISSANCE world tour.

Due to the overwhelming demand, the artist added a total of nine more performances in North American stadiums: July 9 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada; July 23 at Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago; July 30 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey; August 6 at FedEx Field in Washington, DC; August 12 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia; September 3 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California; and September 24 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

According to a press statement from Live Nation, based on current registration data, fan demand has already outpaced the amount of tickets available by more than 800%. Even with these extra days, it’s still anticipated that most interested fans won’t be able to get tickets because demand far outstrips supply.

On a website devoted to Beyoncé’s tour, the parent firm of Ticketmaster, Live Nation, claims that “Beyoncé is employing Verified Fan to help fans purchase tickets.” To help weed out buyers attempting to resale tickets and give fans a less crowded ticket shopping experience, Verified Fan requires registration.

For the North American dates, a TM Verified Fan registration will be used to begin ticket sales for the Live Nation-produced tour. This registration is currently open and closes at various times according on the city. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up preventive measure and a Citi preventive measure using Verified Fan.
