Once again, Beyonce has pleasantly surprised us by releasing a video “Rest in peace Lyric Chanel” in homage to one of her biggest fans.
Beyonce is honouring Lyric Chanel, her young fan who died last Friday after two years of struggling against brain cancer. The singer released a deep video of the young girl in celebration of her life.
This rough disease which touched the young 13-year old girl was documented by her family through social media, which drew more than 600,000 followers on Instagram, and caught the attention of none other than Beyonce herself as well as Cardi B, and many more
Through the emotional video, we can hear Beyonce sing several of her hit songs like “Brown Skin Girl”, “Halo” and “Love on Top”. She ended this tribute with a message of love to Lyric Chanel, “I love you with all my heart”.
The little girl was a huge fan of the singer and last September, Lyric received a bouquet from Beyonce. “When Queen Bey sends you flowers!”, Lyric’s family captioned a video of the girl alongside the flowers at the time.
Her family members were very thankful for this sweet attention. “So grateful that Lyric was able to hear you sing to her before she left this world”.
