Bilal, the alternative neo-soul artist, continues to expand on his artistry with the premiere of the video for “I Really Don’t Care”. Bilal’s fifth studio album, In Another Life, is available now. The track combines tinkling keys and calm and jazzy drums, with hi-hats aplenty, and the video is directed by longtime collaborator Hans Elder.
It is a day in the life of the singer; smoking his pipe, sitting on the toilet, cracking eggs into a glass and working out. He holds his guitar in the bath, as he would a lover, desperate for the human touch. Later you see him in his element, writing songs on said guitar, writing lyrics and sitting at the piano.
