Los Angeles-based 15-year-old Billie Eilish has a definite talent for writing songs. She has just released a new single “Bi***es Broken Hearts” and it’s… stunning. No surprise why Billie is already called “the most impressive”, “the best new hope” and “a prodigy” in pop scene.
First impressions of Billie’s heart-breaking vocal and melodic arrangements might remind you of English musician Birdy, another singer-songwriter who became famous in her teenage years. Nevertheless, the uniqueness is undoubted.
Born in a family of actors and musicians, Billie wrote her first song at age 4. The first track which went viral is called “Ocean Eyes” and was written together with her brother in 2016. Fun fact, the hit was created only because of her dance teacher’s request to bring a song for the class.
Music videos for songs like “Ocean Eyes” and “Bellyache” have millions of views and, having in mind her age, it’s a really impressive start of the career. Unfortunately, her show in London on February 14 is already sold out, but it just proves what an exciting future is waiting for this talented girl.
