Boston Band Coral Moons Leave Us Speechless With New Single ‘Like We Used To’

The four-piece band Coral Moons from Boston have pulled out all the stops for their latest single “Like We Used To”. With Carly Kraft on vocals, Justin Bartlett on guitar, Manuel Camacho on bass, and Kevin O’Connell on drums, the band’s complicity and complementarity is perfect.

“Like We Used To” is the second single from their forthcoming album Fieldcrest. This track is about an old love, and all the toxicity around that relationship that you can’t get enough of and want to return to. We gradually come to a return to reality that reminds us why the relationship ended and why we shouldn’t go back.

Their album, scheduled for release on August 6, is defined as “as a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past. It’s the street I grew up on in Upstate NY and has always held this positive emotional space for me”, according to the singer.

The band, which draws its inspiration from Alabama Shakes, Tedeschi Trucks, The Eagles, Maggie Rogers, and Amy Winehouse, formed in their corporate offices with only Kraft and Camacho. Bartlet and O’Connell joined them later.

Upon the release of their first single “Fall In Love” in 2019, the band began to have success with over 50,000 streams and being featured on 600 playlists! The release of their Quarter Life Crisis EP only accelerated things and the band is now performing on stages all over the world.
