Brooklyn Singer Casper Jones Releases New Single ‘Ghost Town’ | Music News

American singer-songwriter Casper Jones has just dropped his brand-new single “Ghost Town”. The song fuses indie R&B elements and pop vibes, and was produced in his home studio.

After a string of singles released in 2018-2019, Casper Jones has unveiled his debut EP nomad in February 2020. He’s now back with his first single off his new EP GRAY, set to be released sooner this year.

“Ghost Town” is a song about quarantine-inspired reflection, about how being alone and not being able to go anywhere makes you realise all the things you have and that you take for granted. In the song, Jones intends to personify that feeling, by using brighter and floaty ukulele chords and uplifting piano chords.

Casper Jones is a singer-songwriter originally from Seattle, and currently based in Brooklyn. His stage name was given to him by a friend due to his lack of melatonin. Somewhere in between alternative R&B and indie pop, his style was crafted while juggling his former corporate job as a copywriter at an advertising agency.

Casper Jones is now pursuing a full-time music career, making out his songs in his home studio in Bed Stuy.
