Exclusively presented on Tuesday in London, the latest fragrance of the Bulgari ‘Man Collection‘ balances between urban life and nature. And what a better location! The Sky Garden symbolizes this fusion, being the highest public garden in the British capital, blossoms surrounded by the most important skyscrapers of the City.
Bulgari Man Wood Essence is a combination of wood barks and resins, mixed with spicy notes and Italian citrus zest. Coriander in addition gives a fresh but green and intense opening to this new summer perfume.
It might be a surprise, but there is a creator behind each fragrance, and the nose for Man Wood Essence is Alberto Morillas, Spanish iconic perfumer from Sevilla, creator of Acqua di Parma‘s ‘Colonia Intensa‘, but also Calvin Klein‘s ‘CK One‘ and Bulgari‘s famous ‘Omnia‘.
The latest Bulgari creation has been on display, surrounded by decorative foliage, and accompanied by a special eco-green campaign dubbed #citizenofnature, directed by fashion photographer & filmmaker Jacob Sutton and featuring Canadian actor and model Nick Bateman.
The inspiration came, by the way, from Bulgari’s homeland, Italy: its managing Perfume director Luis Miguel Gonzalez got the idea looking at the Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) in Milan’s Porta Nuova district, that consists of a pair of residential towers installed with plants on every side.
Bulgari aims to convey the message of reducing environmental impact and even the perfume bottle is made of 90% recycled glass, and of course, shaped like a modern skyscraper. This is how modern art, meets fashion and eco-trends. Proud of Bulgari!
