For those of you who haven’t had enough of Channing Tatum’s tap dancing and vocal skills, then this is you’re lucky day because the movie Gods are smiling down on us. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Tatum is set to team up with Joseph Gordon-Levitt for an untitled musical comedy from Universal.
Marc Platt is set to produce the project, and it looks like Tatum and Gordon-Levitt will have a hand on the production side too. Tatum will co-produce with his partners Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan for their Free Association company. Gordon-Levitt will co-produce with his shingle, hitRECord Films.
Gordon-Levitt has reportedly developed the idea with Michael Bacall, who will pen the script. Bacall has previously worked with both actors, he worked with Gordon-Levitt on Manic and he has worked with Tatum on the 21 Jump Street films.
Tatum and Gordon-Levitt are no strangers to singing and dancing, Tatum is currently showcasing his musical talents in the Coen Bros’ Hail Caesar! and everyone remembers Gordon-Levitt from that show-stopping number in (500) Days Of Summer. On top of that, both are talented actors so one can only expect exciting things! Stay tuned.
Me and that boi Chang gonna go get it. Finally..@channingtatum @michaelbacall https://t.co/xEFDBrNpkH
