‘Charmed’ Reboot Finally Has Its Last Sister | TV News
The Charmed reboot now has the actresses for the three Pruitt sisters. After The CW released that Sarah Jeffrey will play Madison and Melonie Diaz Mel, they now gave us the third and last sister. Madeleine Mantock known for her role Veil in Into The Badlands will portray Macy Pruitt.
Macy is the oldest sister and described as ‘practical, driven, and brilliant geneticist‘ with the power of telekinesis. Her world is blown up when she discovers that the supernatural is all too real and she is a part of it. The reboot follows her and her sisters discovering their witch powers after the tragic death of their mother while living in a college town.
Besides the three sisters, more of the main cast have already been announced. Rupert Evans, known for playing Frank in The Man In The High Castle, will take on the role of Professor Harry. He is joined by Ser’Darius Blain who played Young Fridge in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
The original series first aired 1998 and followed the Halliwell sisters fighting off the evil in the world with their magical powers while trying to maintain their normal everyday identities. After eight seasons it ended in 2006. Back then it starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and later Rose McGowan.
