Chris Pine Confirms First World War Setting for ‘Wonder Woman’ | Film News
It seems the rumours surrounding the Justice League: Part One prequel are true, Wonder Woman being partially set in during the First World War. Chris Pine, who stars as Wonder Woman’s love interest Steve Trevor confirmed the rumour in an interview with the Toronto Sun today.
“It’s a period we don’t see often; it’s usually World War II. Our costume design is incredible. We have scenes with, like, 500 extras all in period dress. I’d never been on a film with extras casting as beautifully done as it is here.”
Wonder Woman will be released on the 23rd of June, 2017.
