A week ago, R&B star Ciara premiered her single on stage at the Degree Women Grammys Celebration in Los Angeles and today, the official studio version of “Anytime” which features her fiance Future has now been released for our listening pleasure.
The song is a gentle ballad, that finds the couple reassuring themselves of the love they’ve got for one another, while iterating that they will also be there for each other through thick and thin. In the song, we see Ciara singing about how her fiance changed her life whilst Future tells her that he is her soldier and would go to war for her with lyrics like “I’m your soldier, I’m your soldier I’ll go to war because I love ya“. This track shows how they are ‘Ride-or-Die’ for one another, which is really romantic. Take a listen below:
