“No Lies” is the brand new single from emerging UK singer and songwriter Danniella Dee as she gears up to release her debut EP, which she describes as “a smooth and sexy afro/dancehall style groove”, and her “most exciting and upbeat tune yet”.
Coventry artist, songwriter and producer Danniella Dee has been a part of the music industry from a very young age. She first used to sing in church choirs as well as play in local bands. Now she’s finally at the peak of her solo career as an artist.
Danniella has been constantly experimenting with her sound and music specifically since releasing her 90s RnB style debut single “I Just Wanna…” in 2019, and her indie-soul record “Ladybird” was featured on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing show with Huw Stephens.
Following on from this, she was then named BBC C&W Artist Of The Month in September 2020, after which, she released a cover of “Sweetest Taboo”, followed by the sensual groove that is ‘Touch’, her final single of 2020.
What’s even more impressive is that her very first live show at The Hoxton Underbelly in December 2020 sold out and was a complete success and so far this year in the lead up to her debut EP, she has released “Inspiration” and “Silver Lines”, before this new offering “No Lies”.
