Daniel Brühl And Emily Van Camp Joins ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Cast | TV News

Marvel Studio and Disney have not shared many details about the MCU original TV series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier coming to the small screen, via Disney’s new streaming platform Disney+. As far as we know, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are reprising the role of Sam and Bucky as the leading characters of the series.

Deadline have just shared some exclusive details about the series, including the return of two central MCU characters, Baron Zemo from Captain America: Civil War portrayed by Daniel Brühl and Emily Van Camp, who also appeared in the same movie, as Sharon Carter, the niece of Steve Rodgers’ lover Peggy Carter. The events of Avengers: Endgame concerning Falcon will also be addressed through the TV series.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier will feature six episodes in total, with well-crafted BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated director Kari Skoglandto in charge of directing the miniseries. She directed a couple of episodes in The Handmaid’s Tale, and pilots for NOS4A2 and The Rook. The Falcon and Winter Soldier is certainly in good hands.

According to Collider, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be available in August 2020. We’ll wait and see!
