Dave Bautista To Star In M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Knock At The Cabin’

Dave Bautista has signed on to star in M. Night Shyamalan‘s next film, Knock At The Cabin. Shyamalan will write and direct the project, which Universal recently scheduled for a February 3, 2023 release.

Thanks to Shyamalan’s penchant for mystery and twists, practically zero information is known about the project right now, but he’s been on a bit of a comeback since 2015’s The Visit after a string of films that received a critical bashing. His latest release was this year’s Old.

Shyamalan has also shown a knack of using movie stars in unusual ways, with the likes of Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson giving some of their career-best performances in his films. It will be interesting to see how the filmmaker uses Bautista, who has broken out since 2014’s Guardians Of The Galaxy marked his jump from wrestling to acting.

Since then he’s appeared in plenty of Marvel films as Drax, while also having key roles in Blade Runner 2049, Spectre, Army Of The Dead, and Dune.

He’s already signed on for the Knives Out sequel, the Highlander reboot, and a buddy comedy with Jason Momoa, while he’ll also make another appearance as Drax in Thor: Love And Thunder.

Obviously there will be plenty of digging around to find information about Knock At The Cabin, but Shyamalan films are usually best approached when knowing as little about them as possible anyway.
