Friends star David Schwimmer is returning to TV, starring in AMC’s newest TV drama Feed the Beast, the network giving a straight-to-series order to the show also starring Cloud Atlas’ Jim Sturgess as brothers whose American dream turns dark.
Based on a hit Danish drama, the drama centres on the opening of a Greek restaurant by two brothers with two polar visions for their joint business; Tommy (David Schwimmer) dreams of building a thriving business to support his young son, whilst his troubled friend Dion (played by Jim Sturgess) sees it as a method to pay off a mob debt. Directed by Clyde Phillips, the series begins production next month.
