American television network The CW has pulled yet another superhero television series out of the bag. Following the ever popular shows Arrow and The Flash, the network is now working on a new and exciting venture – DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, the series will revolve around inventor Rip Hunter (who is to be played by ex-Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill), who travels back in time in order to put a stop to Vandal Savage’s plan of destroying the world.
Certain characters from Arrow and The Flash are set to appear, such as The Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold and Heatwave, joined by the likes of Hawkgirl and Firestorm. The show will be a part of Warner Bros. large panel at San Diegos’ Comic-Con at the weekend, and in anticipation for this, a new piece of concept art for the series has been released, containing many superheroes including The Flash.
