Disney has just released a new trailer for its upcoming animated film Raya and the Last Dragon.
Raya and the Last Dragon is the 59th film of the Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film follows the story of Raya, played by Kelly Marie Tran, a young warrior in search of the last mythical dragon. The film was written by Qui Nguyen Adele Lim, and Kelly Marie Tran and Awkwafina will play the roles of Raya and the Last Dragon.
The plot is further revealed in this new trailer, where Raya sees her homeland, Kumandra, attacked by ancient monsters from the past and to save her land, Raya sets out on a journey to find the last surviving dragon and save her people.
The film will also feature the voices of Asian-American stars including Sandra Oh, Gemma Chan, Benedict Wong and Daniel Dae Kim.
In addition, the trailer shows us that Disney Animation has succeeded once again in creating wonderful computer-generated images. Showing us the rich fantasy world of the film with only a few shots of Kumandra’s various lands.
Raya And The Last Dragon will premiere on March 5 in cinemas and on Disney+, where it will be available for $29.99 with Premier Access.
