Disney’s ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Confirmed By John C. Reilly | Film News

This time last year, composer for the first film, Henry Jackman accidentally let slip that a second Wreck-It Ralph movie was possibly going to happen. Since then, not a whisper has been heard about the possible sequel to Disney’s 2012 retro-gaming hit. Until now. John C Reilly, the voice of Ralph himself, has revealed at the Galway Film Fleadh that he’s officially signed up for Wreck-It Ralph 2.

The first film grossed $471 million worldwide, a huge hit with kids and nostalgic gamers alike. The story of identity-questioning game villain Ralph, and his ‘hero’ Fix-It Felix, who teams up with Sarah Silverman’s Vanellope von Schweetz, has captured the hearts of many in their adventures across many game worlds. Current rumours that are circulating suggest that Disney has been in talks with Nintendo about including Mario and Luigi, and Link from the Zelda games, yet no other details about plot or creative personnel have been released.
