Social media is such a huge influence that someone saying they’re taking a break from it can trigger genuine concern. In order to travel and, I assume, get a clear head, Ed Sheeran announced a break from “phone, emails and all social media for a while”. The message, which can be viewed below, triggered well-wishers as well as distraught fans.
To reassure everyone, Sheeran reminded followers that the third album is “on its way and is the best thing I have made thus far”. The much-anticipated come-back won’t be until autumn according to the post, but at least fans have something to look forward to!
