It appears that Matt Murdock will meet his match (in fighting and his love interest) in the form of Elektra for the upcoming second season of Daredevil, but is it too soon for her to come into the blind crusader’s life? Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock/Daredevil expressed that he wanted to see Elektra, Daredevil’s most infamous villain Bullseye and The Punisher within season 2. That would certainly make for an interesting season ahead as it gives The Kingpin some breathing time to come back into the picture.
The reports came from @Marvel_Spider’s twitter feed, where links to videos including an unknown actress Shiva Kalaiselvan and Louisa Mignone from Wish You Were Here, seemingly auditioning for the role of Elektra. Both were filmed with Matt Murdock, during their college years. However the videos have recently been stripped from the internet, with that said, who knows what Daredevil has in store for us now? With Daredevil fighting its way to the highest rank television show on Netflix, the Marvel series is looking to expand with characters and environments within season 2.
