A third trailer has been released for American Horror film director Eli Roth’s newest cinematic venture The Green Inferno, in the run up to its’ release this September. The Green Inferno is to be set on an Island in the Amazon, where a group of activist students are taken hostage by a local tribe natives, who turn out to be a little less helpless than they expected.
If it is isn’t enough for you that the masterful face behind Hostel and Cabin Fever, Eli Roth is behind the picture, then you may be pleased to note that it is produced by Blumhouse, who also produced Insidious, Paranormal Activity and The Purge and their respective franchises.
The film has been set back since its’ initial completion in 2013, yet the excitement has not dwindled for the sadomasochism on this film’s release, two years later. The film stars Lorenza Izzo as lead character Justine, supported by Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, Kirby Bliss Blanton and Magda Apanowicz, amongst others. The Green Inferno is set for a September 25 release.
