American Horror Story alumna Emma Roberts is making a return for Cult, after taking a break from Seasons 5 and 6. Roberts, who also starred on creator Ryan Murphy‘s Scream Queens, has otherwise become a staple favourite of the series, despite only starring in Coven and Freak Show.
As has recently become tradition, Murphy took to Instagram to share the news. Roberts stands brandishing a knife, in a white dress and trench coat. The producer writes “Look who showed up on the set of Cult looking glamorous and ready for action,” which I’d say confirms her part on the show. Roberts shared the same photo, writing “I’ve joined #ahscult will you?”.
Roberts rejoins Sarah Paulson and on-off romancer Evan Peters in the upcoming season, as well as Scream Queens alumna Billie Lourd who joins the franchise. Details of her character remains unknown, but from her outfit, it seems she’s part of the upper echelon.
Cult will premiere September 5. There’s plenty of time to join.
