Emmanuel Speaks – #WDYM | Music Video
Having had such an exciting year so far, working with some big companies like Google, New Look, Nike and speaking at TEDxLondon, Wordsmith Emmanuel Speaks releases his brand new single and video for “#WDYM“. An abbreviation for “What Do You Mean?“, it will serves as the lead single from Emmanuel Speaks’ forthcoming album The Composer set for a September release.
Produced by Shemzy & RB Keyz, the new single is a playful one, tongue-in-cheek track where he assumes the role of a young casanova, retelling the experience of his many female relationships, fittingly inspired by Jay Z‘s legendary track “Girls, Girls, Girls“. Directed by Russell Owen, the video is a mostly performative piece, adorned with elegant female dance extras in masquerade form.
Over the past year Emmanuel has been working tirelessly on his debut album alongside fellow East London native Shemzy as the executive record producer and a co-writer and this new single shows that off exceptionally.
