Actress Eva Longoria, best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis in Desperate Housewives, is to produce a new medical drama for NBC. The 39-year-old’s production company UnbeliEVAble Entertainment will be working alongside Universal TV to create the show titled Critical
Critical follows the story of a Latina doctor who returns to her hometown to take a job at a prestigious hospital. However, her past comes back to haunt her in the form of a secret mistake she made early in her career. Suddenly she finds herself in a very critical and threatened position. The drama which is written by Dracula’s Katie Lovejoy, and is described as ‘ER meets House’ It is co-produced by Identity’s John Glenn.
