American actor Evan Peters has been cast in an important role in an upcoming Netflix series. Indeed, the actor will play the role of a serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, in the upcoming Netflix series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
Jeffrey Dahmer is an American serial killer offender, who committed the murder and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. He is also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster.
According to Variety, the series is expected to follow his crimes and will be told from the perspective of his victims. The series will feature at least 10 occasions when the notorious serial killer was almost arrested but was eventually released. It will also attempt to show white privilege, as Jeffrey Dahmer has been granted clemency many times due to his clean appearance and skin colour.
Evan Peters is best known for his role in American Horror Story, where he worked with Ryan Murphy. He will have the opportunity to work with him again as the series will be directed by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
Alongside Evan Peters, will be actors Penelope Ann Miller and Richard Jenkins who will play Jeffrey Dahmer’s parents, Shaun J. Brown who will play Dahmer’s last victim who managed to escape, and Niecy Nash who will play the killer’s neighbour.
