Following the release of their recent single “Paranoid”, transatlantic duo FARR are back with a brand-new tune. Addictive and genre-bending “Technicolour” adds a touch of R&B to their signature electronic sound.
FARR is a musical project started bak in 2016 by vocalist Roméo and producer Linden Jay (who has under his belt collaborations with the likes of Rejjie Snow, LION SNOW, RITUAL and others). Based in London and Los Angeles, the artists have been creating top quality alt-pop anthems, which blend modern production with timeless soul-inspired vocals.
“’Technicolour’ was the last song written for the album”, reveals Roméo. “I’d been feeling fed up with the sad way I was seeing the world, which unfortunately I feel like a lot of us can identify with right now. I wanted to write something to make sense of it all. I was reaching for hope, reaching for a vividly coloured future rather than this grey cloud I felt I was sitting in”.
The new track follows “Paranoid”, the band’s “anxiety anthem” shared last month alongside a music video to match. FARR will soon treat fans to more new music with their upcoming studio album, which features both recently released singles.
